I do not support the development if a bionic person.   First and foremost because I feel like we have societal problems that could be served better by having energy and resources directed toward them. I don’t see the benefit to the greater good of creating a bionic person. I would prefer that we try to become a more peaceful species and organize ourselves better instead of trying to create a simplified version of ourselves that we can control and perfect.   Secondly, have you ever engaged in science fiction?     I don’t claim to be a sci-fi nerd, but if there are any out there, please give me an example of a storyline that shows that a bionic person in the end is a great boon to society. All I have ever read or watched always leads back to our need to get in touch with our humanity. Along the same lines, the use of a bionic person for military purposes absolutely does not change my view.   I don’t see how trading robots for humans solves any of the issues...

My experiences receiving acupuncture treatments showed me that it is powerful energy medicine. After the first treatment I ever received, I could feel energy circulating through all the parts of my body. It felt as though I had only been living in half of my body and I was welcoming back the parts ignored to live with me again. I have begun crying of deep sadness with the insertion of a needle; I have felt anger and frustration spewing from needled points as well. There are many more examples I could list just from my own experiences of healing with acupuncture; they all lead me to conclude that acupuncture is effective energy medicine. Human intent effects health; as healers and recipients of healing it is very important to be aware of intention. Placebo and nocebo effects are widely documented. Some in the west choose to interpret these concepts as a marker of ineffective practices or medicine; I see these effects as compelling evidence of the power of intention. I appreciat...
